New York-based progressive-pop band Flounder Warehouse fuses R&B, jazz, and soul to create a sound causing audiences to experience a range of emotions. Musical influences include Hiatus Kaiyote, Kimbra, and Lianne La Havas. They will be releasing their second EP in April 2017.
The Primrose Drive is a pop infused indie rock band led by the soulful vocals of frontman Andy Steinberg. Their dedication to authentic song-craft, sweet harmonies and experimental funk jams is what sets them apart.
The band’s debut release, “Eternal Youth”, offers songs encompassing a variety of genres. Influenced by bands like The Police, Talking Heads, Chicago, Martin Sexton and Stevie Wonder, their live shows are funk-infused with vocals aimed at engaging the audience and keeping them involved.
The Primrose Drive has shared the stage with nationally touring and regional acts including Consider The Source, Anders Osbourne, Relative Souls, Jab, Tor Miller Band, Kwame and The Uptown Shakedown, and The Hornitz @ Venues throughout NYC, CT and Boston including: Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End, The Shrine, Church (Boston), Copperfield’s, Neutral Ground, Bar East and Alphabet Lounge.
After recording his first batch of songs @ Galuminum Foil Studios with Producer Jeff Berner, Steinberg finished the second part of the album with Producer Brian Forbes @ The Gallery Recording Studio in Brooklyn. Both producers added their dynamic guitar leads to many of the tracks you can hear on “Eternal Youth.”
After finishing the album, Steinberg recruited guitar virtuoso, Giancarlo Castillo (GC), who in turn introduced him to Drummer/Percussionist, Bruno Esrubilsky, Bassist, Marty Fowler, and Vocalist, Solange Prat.
