Digital Frontier with Baked Shrimp
Digital Frontier is a four-piece outfit on a mission to bridge the gap between electronic dance music and live instrumental performance. First exploring the scene from 2006-2008, a decade later Digifront is back, vowing to share their robotic dance beats and driving bass lines lay down the grid work for the progressive, multi-dimensional, synth-laden soundscapes that distinguish their jams from anything you've heard before. Weaving flute melodies in and out of a sonic web of keys and sequencers, Digifront's musical style ranges from smooth and sexy tech-house grooves, to high energy drum & bass, to deep and wobbly dub, and sounds that could only have originated from an alien laboratory.
Since forming in January 2017, Baked Shrimp has broken into the Long Island and NYC jam scene, and over the course of the past two years, the high-energy rock trio has played all unique shows across the Northeast, sharing stages with names such as Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, Flux Capacitor, Electric Love Machine, Formula 5, Kendall Street Company, LITZ, and more. Baked Shrimp successfully released their debut album Feast of Delight in March of 2018 that puts front and center a distinct ’90s indie vibe. They looks to build on the success of their album with more extensive touring over the coming years.
