Friendly Company is a rock n roll band from Brooklyn New York made of four songwriters - Doak, Jesse, Mert and Zoë - who love to play each others song and play them LOUD! Their shows are a party, especially on stage. All of them play most of the instruments, and swap places between songs just to prove it. Friendly Company's been at it since summer 2022 and have played over 50 shows, toured California and Texas, released 2 EPs, became best friends and made a lot of music we love. Every day is the best day of our lives and we're gonna live forever. In 2024 Friendly Company gets one year closer to the rock n roll future. See you there!
Austin-born, New York-based musician Ricky Stein writes songs that seek spiritual common ground between the mesas of West Texas and the cobblestones of South Brooklyn. Recent singles "Sight for Sore Eyes," "Killer Waves," and "The Night Is Young" depict city life in the modern era; "The Tex-Mex Song" balances out the set with good-natured humor. All songs are delivered with an earnest baritone accompanied by acoustic guitar, harmonica, and good-natured stage presence.
